Hi, I'm Ashlyn Pope
Physiotherapist (Women's Health and Continence)
Additional Qualification: Graduate Certificate in Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence & Women’s Health)
With a unique focus on women’s pelvic health physiotherapy, Ashlyn is living her physiotherapy dream and enjoys helping women who seek pelvic health treatment or who have never seen a women’s health physiotherapist before. She takes immense satisfaction in helping women understand the full scope of care available to them.
Her physiotherapy journey began at Curtin University, and she has since further upskilled with additional qualifications in Clinical Pilates, spinal manual therapy, dry needling and running analysis.
What she absolutely loves about being a physiotherapist, especially in the field of pelvic health, is the opportunity to support women throughout their pregnancy and postnatal periods. She works with women of all ages experiencing bladder and bowel problems, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction, with a goal to prevent future pelvic health concerns by providing care and education during this crucial phase of a woman’s life.
Beyond her specialisation in pelvic health, Ashlyn has a genuine interest in exercise rehabilitation and thrives on the challenge of creating client-specific rehabilitation programs to help her clients return to their favourite activities.
Outside of the clinic, Ashlyn is an avid surfer, netball enthusiast, and a dedicated runner. Traveling and exploring the beautiful southwest with her two daughters and her husband also hold a special place in her heart.
Ashlyn is also dedicated to giving back to the south-west community, and volunteers her time to Life Ready’s Open House initiative.
