Hi, I'm Wesley Blackett

Wes completed his physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in 2014 and has been working in a private practice setting ever since. He began working in the SBL as the physiotherapist for the Lakeside Lightning Men’s and Women’s basketball team in 2018, which exposed Wes to a variety of complex and severe sporting injuries in professional basketballers.

Outside of sporting physiotherapy, Wes has developed a keen interest in treating a variety of knee injuries and loves to explore conservative management of ACL injuries when it is appropriate for patients. Wes also enjoys treating neck pain and headaches.

Wes has done additional study in lower back pain and dry needling and uses hands on treatment, dry needling and exercise rehabilitation to return his patients back to their full ability.

Outside of work Wes enjoys playing golf, running and spending time with his wife and 2 boys.
