Hi, I'm Kaela Farrier
Exercise Physiologist
Kaela’s journey into healthcare was inspired by her own experience, witnessing the profound impact of good healthcare, prompting her to aid others on similar paths. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health, a Bachelor of Science with Honours and achieved her Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology to round out her extensive clinical understanding of exercise as medicine.
As an exercise physiologist, she finds immense satisfaction in assisting motivated clients who aim to lead longer, healthier lives through prioritising their personal health. Her down-to-earth and empathetic approach allows her to effectively collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences and help them overcome a variety of conditions and co-morbidities.
Over the years, she has led Life Now, a targeted cancer exercise class supported by the Cancer Council, witnessing the positive mental and physical impact of a 12-week exercise program held twice a week.
She has also co-authored 12 peer-reviewed journal articles as a research assistant at Curtin University, underlining her commitment to advancing knowledge in her field.
Growing up in the Perth hills, Kaela has always been a keen equestrian, although nowadays she is more commonly seen finding creative joy in the kitchen!
