Hi, I'm Julia Lee

Physiotherapist

Once upon a time, Julia was an elite gymnast back in Singapore and having encountered multiple injuries herself, decided on a career in physiotherapy to help people regain their function and return to sport with the correct management.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Sport Science and Exercise and Health from UWA, followed by a Curtin Graduate Entry Master in Physiotherapy. Complementing her qualifications, she’s pursued additional certifications in Pilates and women’s health and GLA:D Australia® in the exercise management of hip and knee osteoarthritis.

Fluent in Mandarin, Julia’s passion for her profession stems from the diversity it offers. She loves the dynamic nature of meeting and treating a spectrum of individuals and conditions, which keeps her work exciting and far from mundane.

Though she is adept in many musculoskeletal conditions like neck, back or knee pain and sporting injuries, she harbors a special passion for women’s health and incontinence. Her dedication arises from the prevalence of these issues in society, often overlooked or misunderstood, leading to people being unaware of their symptoms’ significance.

Committed to an exercise-based approach, Julia utilises her Pilates understanding to enhance rehabilitation and empower her clients to return to doing the things they love.

She values the work flexibility and internal programs on offer at Life Ready that continuously enhance her skills, allowing her to offer the best possible care.

Outside of work, Julia is a nurturing house plant enthusiast and enjoys watching reruns of Friends.
